End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between you ("User", "you") and the developer of Lichess Bot Controller ("Developer", "we", "us"). By installing, activating, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. License Grant

Subject to the terms of this Agreement and a valid, active subscription, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of the Software on a single machine identified by its Machine ID.

You may request a machine transfer up to two (2) times per calendar month by contacting support via the Telegram bot.

2. Subscription Model

The Software requires an active subscription key obtained through our Telegram bot. Subscription durations available: 1 day, 7 days, monthly (30 days), 3 months (90 days), and yearly (365 days).

Payments are processed by DonationAlerts as voluntary support of the Developer. The Developer acknowledges receipt and issues a corresponding subscription key. There is no automatic renewal. Access expires at the end of the purchased period unless renewed manually.

3. Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

4. Lichess Disclaimer

You acknowledge that:

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Software, including source code, design, icons, documentation, and Stockfish integration code, remain the sole property of the Developer, except for third-party components (Stockfish, opening books) which are licensed under their respective open-source licenses.

6. No Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH FUTURE LICHESS API CHANGES.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR ACCOUNT TERMINATION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

The Developer's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the current subscription period.

8. Termination

This Agreement terminates automatically upon expiration of your subscription key or upon breach of any term. The Developer may revoke your license key at any time if you violate Sections 3 or 4. Upon termination, you must cease all use and uninstall the Software.

9. Refund Policy

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, within seven (7) days of your first activation, you may request a refund by contacting support, provided the Software failed to perform as described and the issue cannot be resolved. Refunds are at the Developer's sole discretion. See the Refund Policy for details.

10. Updates

The Software may automatically check for and prompt you to install updates. Updates may modify features, fix bugs, or change behavior without prior notice.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

This Agreement does not establish a formal legal jurisdiction. Disputes should first be resolved through direct communication via the support Telegram bot. If unresolved, both parties shall attempt good-faith negotiation before pursuing any other remedy.

12. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this EULA from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
